How we use Cookies
What are Cookies and how do we use them?
A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer's hard drive. The file is added and the cookie helps analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular page. Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual. The web application can tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences. One example of this would be a pre filled form containing your email address or home address.
We use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyse data about web page traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to customer needs. We use Piwik analytics software to track our visitors, unlike remote-hosted services (such as Google Analytics), we host Piwik on our own server and the data is tracked inside our MySQL database. Because Piwik is installed on our server, we enjoy full control over the data, and that allows us to respect your privacy.
Any contact details that you hand to us will be used only for us to contact you about our services. We do not sell or pass on your email address or any other details to third parties.
